2006 Lexus LS 460
Launched as the L-Finesse Concept in Tokyo, what you’re looking at here is essentially the completely redesigned Lexus LS 460, which is more stylish and more powerful than ever before. Rumors claim a 4.6-liter V8 engine matched to an eight-speed (!) automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. We also hear that Lexus is likely to offer a hybrid version with all-wheel drive in the future. Like other modern Lexus models, the new LS should contain top-quality materials, simplistic and elegant control layout, and a full load of safety technology and features. Let’s just hope the brake pedal feels better underfoot than what the company supplies in the GS and IS models.
