Tips for the Golf Course
Do you let faster golfers play through? please allow faster players through - this is common golf course courtesy.
Do you always remember to fix your ball marks? Ball marks on the greens, if not repaired immediately, take many months to repair themselves. A ball mark repaired within 15 minutes will heal in 24 hours; a ball mark repaired within 24 hours will take 6 months to heal. Please make the effort to help keep our greens in top shape - repair your ball marks.
Here are some Golf Digest tips for keeping it down in windy conditions:
1. Keep your stance wide. 2. Don't use your sand wedge into the wind.
3. Downwind, aim for the green and not the pin

Golf Grip

Golfers, especially you beginners and intermediates, who place the club on the ground and then take their grip, often place the club too diagonal in their hand, Ex. too much in the palm of the hand.
To prevent this, extend your target arm and hold the club at an angle in front of you with the heel pad of your left hand on top of the handle. This places the club across the top joints of the fingers (where the fingers meet the hand). The heel pad supports and traps the club, relieving you of the need to hold the club in a death grip.
