Jujitsu is an efficient method for neutralizing an opponent by training you on pins, joint locks, and throws.

    Tai chi chuan is a traditional Chinese martial art. Tai Chi is both a hard and soft martial art technique often practiced for health reasons. Tai Chi is primarily known as a soft style that is applied with internal power. Tai Chi can focus the mind solely on the movements of the form and helps to bring about a state of mental calm and clarity.



    Karate is a martial art developed in Okinawa. Karate is a striking martial art that uses punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes plus open-handed techniques. Knife-hands or commonly called "karate chop" is an open hand technique. Some styles of karate use grappling, locks, restraints, throws, and vital point strikes as well as the striking techniques. You may have seen at karate tournaments a presentation called a "Kata". The Kata is a formalized sequence of movements, which represent various attack and defense postures. Martial arts training centers are generally called a "dojo".

    Kung fu and wushu are popular terms that have become synonymous with Chinese martial arts. Chinese martial arts actually consist of a number of fighting styles that developed over the centuries in China. Training in Chinese kung fu consists of basics movements, stances, meditation, forms, technique applications and weapons training.
